Author and speaker Sherri Burgess will share her story at a Nov. 14 dinner preceding the Tuesday evening service of the Alabama Baptist State Convention annual meeting, where her husband, Rick Burgess, co-host of “The Rick and Bubba Show” radio program, will be the featured speaker.
Sherri Burgess’ event will be held at Whitesburg Baptist Church’s South Campus in Huntsville. Meal service will begin around 4:30 and she will speak around 5:30. Tickets are required and can be reserved at alsbom.org/burgess.
Burgess, a member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church, Vestavia Hills, will be speaking about what God taught her in the years following the death of their youngest son, Bronner, leading her to write the book, “Bronner: A Journey to Understand.”
