National Day of Prayer
May 7, 2021
A message from Ronnie Floyd, president and CEO of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee and former president of the National Day of Prayer
The National Day of Prayer is Thursday (May 7). Although I’m no longer president of the National Day of Prayer since assuming this new calling in my life, I still have a deep conviction and commitment to praying for our nation.
We must be vigilant to pray for America consistently and even daily as we face the COVID-19 global pandemic. As we prepare specifically for Thursday and the 2020 National Day of Prayer, please consider using this prayer guide below. It is a powerful way to pray for America.
Please tell your friends to pray Thursday. Share these prayer points with them, as well as with pastors and churches, and everyone working in business, education, healthcare and all areas of American life. Let’s join in clear agreement, visible unity, and extraordinary prayer as we focus on praying for America on Thursday, the National Day of Prayer.
