The Alabama State Board of Missions (SBOM) recently welcomed Larry Hyche to its team. Serving as a state missionary, Hyche will work as an associate in the office of global missions and focus on men’s spiritual development.

Hyche earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 1998 and went on to earn his master of divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2003.

While at UAB, Hyche felt his call into full-time ministry. “I wanted to help teenagers to commit their lives to Christ — not to a church or youth program, but to Jesus,” he said. (continued…)
