Bethany Baptist Church Worship Leader
Bethany Baptist is a growing church with healthy ministries located in Crane Hill, AL. We are seeking a part-time Worship Leader to lead our service in vibrant and powerful contemporary worship.

Qualifications
– The Worship Leader must be a believer with a growing faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
– The ideal candidate will have a strong vocal ability and proficiency in, preferably, guitar and/or keyboard

Responsibilities
– The Worship Leader will oversee all musical aspects of the Worship Service
– Familiarity and proficiency with Planning Center for scheduling and service planning.
– Lead worship on Sunday mornings
– Coordinate with all aspects of media and technical support teams to ensure all areas of worship focus on Jesus Christ
– Recruit and oversee musical volunteers and instrumentalist to promote Christ-centered worship services
– Work with musicians in building musical skills and abilities.
– Plan worship sets and schedule musicians for weekly practice after our Wednesday night activities

– More than anything, the ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and engaging worship leader who can lead a congregation in worship, not just lead songs. We believe that the worship ministry will flourish under the leadership of a worship leader who has a humble heart.

Compensation
Pay is negotiable but we like to land on the generous side for a part-time position of this nature.
