Full time pastor

We are seeking a full time pastor to provide oversight and direction for the worship service, particularly how people are introduced and encouraged to engage with the presence of God and their eternal salvation through Jesus Christ! The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong Christian faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. He should have excellent written and verbal skills, have a deep passion for community outreach, must have good organizational, administrative and management skills. He must demonstrate the ability to recruit, mentor, train and lead volunteers. He must be a committed leader to creating a vision for JGBC and growing God’s church. His job responsibilities will include but are not limited to preaching at our Sunday Services; teaching Adult Bible Study; leading Wednesday night outreach; visiting congregants in their homes and hospitals; prayer, coordinating visitation and getting to know our church neighbors and an individual disciplined time for Bible study, prayer and preparation for preaching.
