First Baptist Church of Madison, Alabama is seeking a part-time Minister of Music. All qualified candidates will possess the following:
1. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be committed and called to service in the local church.
2. Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in a music or ministry field.
3. Ministry experience in a church setting.
Core job responsibilities:
1. Oversee a music ministry that is Christ-centered and offers opportunities for participation by a variety of church members.
2. In consultation with the Senior Pastor and ministerial staff, plan and lead the music for the Sunday morning traditional worship service.
3. Organize and direct the Adult Sanctuary Choir.
4. Organize and direct the Children's Choir (grades K-5) and the Youth Choir (grades 6-12).

This position reports to the Senior Pastor. Salary is commensurate with service.
