Alabama has now been activated by SBDR Logistics as of today, March 14, to deploy to the Monroe area of Louisiana for flood relief. Cleanup/Recovery teams with embedded chaplains will deploy to support this effort alongside teams from Louisiana, Oklahoma, Missouri, Georgia and South Carolina. It is anticipated that this event will increase in terms of states responding and numbers of disaster relief teams as flood waters continue to recede.
Please take a moment and pray as Alabama responds to assist our neighbors in an effort to bring help, healing and hope for families in crisis. Pray for survivors, emergency responders and our volunteers.
