The Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church is an opportunity for individuals and churches across the Southern Baptist Convention to unite in prayer for our brothers and sisters around the world who are persecuted for their faith. When we pray for persecuted believers, God uses their witness to inspire gospel transformation among the lost.
Each year on the first Monday of November, women around the world are encouraged to meet and pray together for our world. Our world may be local, national, or international. For more information and for resources, visit https://bwawomen.org/day-of-prayer/
Ministry Wives from across the state gather once a month via Zoom for a time of encouragement and community as they hear from the other ministry wives and join their hearts as they pray for one another. All ministry wives are welcome. This special time is hosted by Alabama WMU.
