Hepzibah Baptist Church in McCalla, Alabama is looking for God’s man to serve as part time Worship Leader and Choir Director. The candidate will be entrusted to lead, plan, and implement all music for worship services, leading Hepzibah Baptist to worship the Lord in Spirit and truth. Hepzibah has a blended worship style.
Job requirements
1) High moral character.
2) Evidence of ongoing personal spiritual growth.
3) Ability to easily lead worship alone. Must be able to lead congregational singing while playing either guitar or keyboard.
4) Ability to lead praise team and choir.
5) Ability to love, shepherd, and relate well to praise team and choir.
6) Team player who works well with the pastor.
7) Willing to join and completely plug into the life of Hepzibah Baptist Church.
8) Good verbal and written communication skills.
Potential Time Commitment: 15 hours per week including Sunday mornings and evenings and Wednesday nights.
This position reports to the pastor.
