Pineview Baptist Church, Brent, Alabama, is seeking a full-time, God-called, experienced, licensed, and ordained pastor with a heart for evangelism and soulwinning.
Pineview Baptist Church follows Southern Baptist doctrine, participates in the Cooperative Program, and follows the Baptist Faith and Message (2000 edition). Pineview follows the concept of small groups and offers Growth Track sessions the first 4 Sundays of each month.
The ideal candidate must have the qualifications given in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. He should demonstrate a strong Christian faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. He should have excellent writing and communication skills; passion for community outreach and church growth; excellent organizational, administrative and leadership skills; and be committed to creating a vision for Pineview.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: responsible for the overall Holy Spirit led direction, vision, and mission of Pineview; preaching Sunday morning service and leading Wednesday night Bible Study; pastoral care to congregants in their homes and in hospitals; working closely with deacons and church staff (both paid and volunteer).
