Alabama Baptists voted to change the location of the 2020 Alabama Baptist State Convention annual meeting to First Baptist Church, Montgomery, in order to accommodate an International Mission Board (IMB) Sending Celebration to be held in conjunction with the event.

The Sending Celebration will be held Nov. 17, 2020, the first night of the two-day meeting. 

Jeff Meyers, pastor of First Baptist Church, Opelika, was named convention preacher. Alternate preacher is Joel Carwile, pastor of First Baptist Church, Athens. (continued…)
