Preschool

Beth Henderson, minister to preschoolers at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Huntsville, will lead this informative session about the importance of learning centers and how to best use available classroom space.
Preschool Sunday School is about building a foundation on Jesus’s love! In this session, we’ll talk about characteristics of the young child, meeting their needs and discovering how they learn. Our goal is to give them the building blocks of faith that can lead to a lifetime of learning and growing in Jesus. Session leader will be Beth Baldwin, director of preschool and children’s ministries at First Baptist, Tallassee.
Join us as Landry Holmes, manager of Kids Publishing and Network Partnerships at LifeWay Christian Resources, leads a discussion on how to choose the best curriculum for your church preschool and children’s ministry needs and what materials are offered.
Come get lots of ideas for hands-on experiences using sensory boxes in the preschool classroom! Learn how easy it can be to create tangible connections to the Bible study. Participants will see several examples of sensory boxes and will be given the information/inspiration to create their own. Session leader is Letha Paulk, K-4 teacher for the Loving Kids Learning Center at Parker Memorial Baptist Church in Anniston.
Learn about four ways you can teach Bible skills in a socially distanced world: at home, online, at church or while discovering the outdoors. Session leaders included Belinda Stroud with the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, David Jennings with First Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa, Ala., Maria Brannen with Georgia Baptist Bible Drill, and Deborah Robson with North Carolina Baptist Bible Drill. The webinar was a joint venture between the three state conventions.
