Murphy Hill Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Youth Minister/Director to lead our 7th–12th grade students in spiritual growth and discipleship. This position focuses on guiding youth to know Christ personally, grow in their faith, and serve others faithfully.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead a Bible-based youth ministry program, including Sunday School and Wednesday evening lessons.
Plan and coordinate youth activities such as retreats, mission projects, and fellowship events.
Partner with the Pastor, Deacon body, and Church staff to encourage youth involvement in the life of the church.
Provide spiritual counseling and maintain good order and discipline within the youth group.
Work with parents and guardians to support and strengthen families.
Manage the youth ministry budget and report monthly to the church.
This is a paid position with an initial 60-day trial period. The role reports to the Pastor and works in cooperation with the Personnel and Finance Committees, subject to approval by the Church body.
