Pisgah Baptist Church is seeking an individual called to serve, minister, and grow the youth in our area through teaching, activities, and opportunities for outreach.
The Youth Minister is responsible for development, planning, implementation, and general oversight for students in grades 6-12; however, would be involved in the implementation of activities with students of all ages. The Youth Minister will help in discipleship through welcoming young people (and their families) and connecting with the community.
The ideal prospective candidate:
-has a love for, devotion to, and relationship with Jesus Christ.
-has a passion for the next generation and church outreach.
-has leadership skills.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-disciple students to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
-teach student classes.
-plan, implement, and participate in student activities.
-educate and outreach for students and their families.
-work with church staff in reaching the community with the gospel.
-assist the pastor with outreach ministries and visitation.
