Camp Baldwin is a Christian camp and retreat ministry of the Baldwin Baptist Association in Baldwin County, Alabama. We are located on beautiful Wolf Bay in Elberta, Alabama near the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach white sandy beaches and tourist attractions. We are offering an opportunity for a student to gain practical experience as a guest services and hospitality leader and help lead summer staff in multiple areas under guidance of full-time staff.
Qualifications:
· Must be spiritually mature
· Interest in pursuing a career in hospitality, guest services, or camp ministry
· Organized, detailed-oriented, and able to lead a small team
· Desire to serve guests
Responsibilities:
· Lead staff and volunteers in housekeeping tasks
· Set up equipment and assist in orientation for groups
· Interact with campers, church leaders and camp staff with a Christ-like attitude
· Serve in all areas of camp ministry including recreation, food services, housekeeping, etc. in a busy Christian summer camp environment
· Assist camp leadership with various tasks related to hosting and welcoming groups
Benefits:
· Position includes $300/week salary, on campus housing, most meals, uniforms, training (Additional $25 per week for certified lifeguards that serve full summer)
· Typically one off day per week
· Live close to beaches and tourist destinations near Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, Alabama
· Camp Baldwin willing to work with colleges/seminaries to help students get internship credit
Paid Internship Dates: Full Summer –May 25-August 2, 2026 (Financial BONUS if serve full summer)* (FULL SUMMER INTERN PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED) Partial Summer Session A –May 25-June 27* // Partial Summer Session B –June 29-August 2*
*All interns must attend summer staff training event May 22-24 at Camp Baldwin in Elberta, Alabama
