Pineview Baptist Church is seeking a Student Pastor to lead and oversee our Youth and Children’s Ministries. The church’s desire is to reach our students with the Gospel and help them build a solid foundation for life, teaching them through the Word of God to walk and grow as disciples of Christ. The world in which they live is becoming increasingly hostile toward God, and we want to prepare our students to face it with confidence in God’s Word, dependence upon His Spirit, commitment to the local church, and love for the people around them.
Ephesians 4:11–13 (ESV) “11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”
The following core values apply:
1) The candidate must have a solid testimony of knowing Christ and walking with Him daily.
2) He must have a love for God’s Word and a desire to equip others with it.
3) He must relate well to parents as well as students.
4) He must be teachable and leadable, exhibiting a desire to learn and continue learning, as well as being eager to follow the Senior Pastor’s leadership.
