Objectives
To enhance our total ministry at First Baptist Church of Guin by working with elementary school through college/young adults and their families, in order to blend all church activities in unison with the vision of the church.To work with the pastor and church staff as a team in order to develop and promote a comprehensive unity for the church family. QUALIFICATIONS
Be a genuine born-again disciple of Jesus Christ
Be Southern Baptist by conviction (as stated in Baptist Faith and Message 2000)
Must have a God ordained call to student ministry and some experience working with students.
Possess a love for God’s Word and daily reading
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Become a member of First Baptist Church of Guin and loyal in support to every phase of its work and ministry.
Recognize the pastor as God’s minister of the entire congregation and be subject to his leadership, vision, and direction.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s Degree (working toward a degree) recommended
Seminary education preferred
Work on continuing education through Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions and training opportunities.
