Christ Central Church is a young Southern Baptist congregation of around 100 members. With continued growth over the last few years, we are now seeking to build a student ministry. The applicant for this position should be prepared to cooperate with our team of elders in developing a family-centered discipleship plan for students in grades 6-12.
Applicants for this staff position should be spiritually mature men, disciplined in both spiritual matters as well as vocational. Necessary qualifications include previous experience in a student ministry setting. At the very least, this means consistent participation as a volunteer in a previous setting. Additionally, applicants should sense a calling to ministry with references to validate that calling. A bachelor’s degree (pursuing or attained) is preferred, but not necessary.
