The man selected for this position will be responsible for organizing and running the operation of Shiloh Baptist Church. Specifically, he will be expected to lead the congregation in organizing the different functions of the church in accordance with the structure adopted.
He will be expected to develop a robust program of evangelism, discipleship, and outreach which is intended to grow the church. This program should be welcoming of all sinners of different ethnicities and backgrounds, and one of the main focuses of the program should be centered on leading the lost to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. He will also be responsible for developing a strong program of missions, both domestic and foreign.
Another responsibility is the development of the church staff, both paid and voluntary, so the church can carry out the programs and missions of the church. It is especially important that the children and youth ministry be a high priority for the pastor.
With relation to Christian education, the man selected for this position will be expected to prepare and deliver sermons based upon the scriptures and in a manner that is understandable, motivating, and inspired.
The members of Shiloh Baptist Church have a desire to see the church grow, and the man selected for this position must have a vision for growth. A comprehensive plan with both short and long-term goals will be made in an effort to see this growth happen.
