First Baptist Church of Level Plains, located in Level Plains, Alabama, is seeking a full-time senior pastor who loves Jesus, loves God’s word, loves God’s people, and desires to reach our community for Christ. Our church believes in the Southern Baptist Doctrine and follows the Baptist Faith and Message adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000. The mission of our church is to love God, love people, share Christ, and make disciples. Our church is an established church in our community and Sunday morning attendance ranges from 125 to 135.
We are seeking a man who possesses strong leadership skills and a vision for the church.
He must be both a shepherd and a teacher. We are seeking a man committed to preaching
and teaching the inerrant word of God and that is committed to making disciples through
gospel focused worship, training and service, and engages in pastoral care of the church
and the community. He must also align with the biblical qualifications listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7
