FBC Lanett is seeking a Senior Pastor who will lead and disciple our congregation to reach our community and world with the gospel, establish a Christ-centered fellowship, and shepherd its people.
Our church is a work of revitalization in a city that has declined due to industry loss. However, the church has many opportunities for growth and community connection. Lanett is located on the Chattahoochee River, surrounded by healthy communities. With direct access to I-85, you can experience any number of recreational opportunities, including outdoorsman sports on Lake West Point and excellent hunting, as well as both rural and large urban cities within relatively short drives. Our city is perfect for raising a family in a small-town environment with access to large city amenities.
Our ideal pastoral candidate will possess a Master of Divinity degree or comparable experience in pastoral ministry. He must possess strong leadership skills and vision for the church. He must be both a shepherd and a teacher, utilizing winsome and careful communication to lead long-time members and able to reach and connect with new members.
