Preschool and Childrens’ Ministry Assistant

Overview of Responsibilities: Assist the Children's Minister / Preschool Director in organizing and implementing a faith-based, high-quality church and preschool program.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Prepare materials for Sunday mornings
• Maintain volunteer schedules for Children's Ministry events and programs
• Basic office functions (copying, etc.)
• Organize and maintain Children's Ministry and Preschool Resource areas.
• Notify the Director when supplies are low so that purchases can be made.
• Client accounting for the preschool. Keep up with tuition paid and owed.
• Manage bank deposits.
• Help with holiday events for the Children's Ministry and the Preschool
• Attend all staff meetings of the Preschool. Attend Church staff meetings as requested.
• Any other duties / activities as requested by the Children's Minister / Preschool Director

Spiritual: Possess a strong faith in Christ as Savior and a clear calling to children in church and school. Strive towards a regular devotional life, regular worship attendance and dedicated to the goal of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church to glorify God in their home, community, and in the world.

Skills and Qualification:
• Experience in a preschool leadership role is encouraged but not mandatory.
• A positive attitude
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• High level of self-awareness and teachable
• Comfortable using a variety of computer-based and web-based programs needed for the Preschool and the Church
