Cordova First Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a dedicated and talented Pianist to serve as a vital part of our worship ministry. The ideal candidate will provide piano accompaniment for congregational worship, choir rehearsals, and special services throughout the year. While piano is the primary focus, the ability to play multiple instruments is considered a valuable bonus.
Responsibilities
• Provide piano accompaniment for:
• Sunday morning worship services and Wednesday evening choir rehearsals
• Special services and events (such as Christmas, Easter, funerals, weddings, and other church gatherings)
• Assist in special programs and seasonal productions as needed.
• Participate fully in the life of the church by becoming a member of Cordova First Baptist Church and engaging with other church ministries.
Qualifications
• Commitment to personal faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with the beliefs and mission of Cordova First Baptist Church.
• Ability to read music and the ability to play a mix of traditional hymns and modern worship music.
• Previous experience preferred
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work well with a team
