Mable Hill Baptist Church in Ardmore, AL is prayerfully seeking God’s choice of Pastor for our congregation. We are searching for a part-time/bi-vocational pastor with a potential move to full-time as the church grows. Responsibilities will include preparing sermons for Sunday and Wednesday services, ministering to the families of the congregation and leading the deacons.
The ideal candidate should be a devoted servant of God who is prepared to lead our church both spiritually and morally. He must apply knowledge of The Bible, utilize the Baptist Doctrine, and demonstrate love for Christ. He should be a shepherd and a teacher with strong leadership skills and a passion for reaching out to our community though events like our VBS and our annual Bethlehem walk. Previous pulpit experience and post high school education are desired, seminary is preferred.
Mable Hill Baptist was founded in 1920 and continues to spread the gospel through community outreach and local missions. We look forward to the plans God has for us in the future.
