Palmerdale Cross Baptist Church is looking to hire a Part-Time music minister. We are a growing church that has tripled in size over the past 7 years. We are making the move to two services this Fall. God is doing great things at PCBC.
We are looking for the person that God is calling to serve as our Worship Minister. We run a blended service. We operate with a praise team, and occasionally our choir will sing. We have a large group of volunteers that serve each week. We are looking for someone to take our worship to the next level.
We are looking for someone called, equipped, organized, and passionate.
Job duties:
Directs the planning, coordination, operation, and evaluation of a comprehensive worship ministry.
• Coordinates the worship ministry with the calendar and emphasis of the church.
• Assists the Senior Pastor in planning congregational services of the church; be responsible for the selection of the music.
• Leads the praise team for congregational services of the church.
• Provides leadership and guidance for the praise team, choirs, and musical groups of the church.
• Is responsible for enlisting and training leaders and volunteers for the worship ministry of the church.
• Supervises maintenance of equipment; provides musical materials, supplies, instruments, and other musical equipment for use in the church’s program when appropriate.
• Provides leadership and guidance for the media ministry of the church.
• Coordinates the training and use of instrumentalists and vocalists in groups or as individuals.
• Prepares an annual budget to be recommended to the Finance Committee.
