First Baptist Church is seeking a Part-Time Music Minister to lead our congregation in worship as well as advance the ministry of music in the church.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Senior Pastor in order to arrange appropriate song selections for each Sunday morning service, as well as, any special events that will require music
2. Meet with and lead the choir regularly to prepare for choir specials, Easter and Christmas cantatas, etc.
3. Curate an environment for others to grow musically through joining the choir, special music, etc.
4. Manage the music ministry budget, equipment, and resources of the church.
5. Coordinate with church staff on order of service each week
Ability to play the piano is preferred, but not required.
