Cleveland First Baptist Church is seeking a Part-Time Director of Youth Ministries. This position is a great opportunity for experience in ministry work and has potential to transition to full-time.
The right candidate will be called to seek out, disciple and minister to youth. He will be organized and willing to step outside the church to spend time with youth. This person should have strong leadership skills, empathy, and an ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Other responsibilities include developing relationships with parents, creating lesson plans and teaching schedules, and organizing activities and programs for youth events. Ordination is not required.
The person hired for this position and their family will be welcomed as a part of the body of Christ at our church and encouraged through mentorship with our pastor and assisted by the Deacon body and other church leaders.
