Contemporary Worship Leader
Parkview Baptist Church of Eufaula, AL is seeking a full-time Worship Leader to lead our service in vibrant and powerful contemporary worship.
Qualifications
•
The ideal candidate will have a strong vocal ability and proficiency in, preferably, guitar and/or keyboard
Responsibilities
•
The Worship Minister will oversee all musical and technical aspects of the Worship Service
•
Lead contemporary worship on Sunday mornings and at other worship opportunities
•
Coordinate with all aspects of media and technical support teams to ensure all areas of worship (mixing audio for room and livestream) are cohesive and aiding to the focus of Jesus
•
Recruit and oversee musical volunteers to promote Christ-centered/focused contemporary worship services
•
Work with musicians in building musical skills and abilities.
•
Plan worship sets and schedule musicians for weekly practice and Sunday morning contemporary services
More than anything, we are pursuing a man who has a genuine love for the Lord Jesus Christ. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and engaging worship leader who can shepherd our contemporary service. We believe that the ministry will continue to flourish under the leadership of a worship leader who has a humble heart. We need an individual who will bring out the best in the musicians around him through coaching and mentoring.
A special consideration will be given to any candidate who additionally could facilitate working as Music Leader and working as a student ministry to fellowship, worship, teach biblical principles, evangelism, and discipleship for students in grades 6-12 and college.
