Church Secretary

Parkview Baptist Church

The purpose and function of the secretary shall be to serve as office receptionist, to greet all who may contact the church by telephone or personal visits.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•           Prepare the Sunday bulletin and prayer sheet.

•           Maintain and update church records and information for all the church members.

•           Maintain a current copy of the church calendar with coordination from the Church Staff.

•            Operate the office equipment, such as the printing equipment, copier, etc.

•            Order all Sunday School materials and office supplies.

•            Make sure all Event Forms are completed and approved by the staff.

•            Serve as support to ministerial staff.

•            Serve as support to church members, MDO, and ministry teams as needed.

•            Input Sunday School attendance weekly in ChurchPro. Experience with ChurchPro considered a plus.

In addition to the functions listed, there are many other tasks that come up frequently. This position requires positive relations with church members, staff, and support staff.
