The Secretary/Bookkeeper is responsible to the Pastor and provides clerical support to the ministerial staff. The Secretary/Bookkeeper serves as a Bookkeeper as well as the primary receptionist. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not necessarily limited to, the reception of visitors and members (either in-person, by phone, or email) during weekly office hours, providing and updated church member information, aiding in maintaining the overall church calendar, the production and distribution of church publications (newsletters, reports, bulletins, and any other requested publications), the maintenance of personnel files, time sheets, and church database, general bookkeeping, and assist with other responsibilities as assigned by the pastor.
