PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. The Children’s Director of Children/Families has a primary responsibility to God. It would be expected of him/her to cultivate his/her spiritual life by private devotions, faithfulness, and loyalty to the Lord’s church and personal witnessing and soul winning.
II. The Children’s Director of Children/Families will work in cooperation with and under
the supervision of the pastor.
III. The Children‘s Director of Children/Families will engage in care of the membership along with the pastor, other staff, and elected leadership.
IV. The Children’s Director of Children/Families will serve as a member of the church council, engage in care in visitation and attend regular meetings of the church.
VOCATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Seek to develop and maintain an ongoing Children/Families Ministry that incorporates spiritual formation, valid ministry, and recreational activity to develop children as authentic disciples of Christ and strengthen the family unit.
A. This will include working with the pastor, church council, Children/Preschool Committee, Sunday School, Children Worker Volunteers and parents in planning and coordinating the ongoing function of the Children/Families Ministry.
B. Preparing annual Children/Families Ministry budget for approval and administers the budget according to the Children/Families church policy.
