BI-VOCATIONAL YOUTH LEADER STAFF
The Bi-Vocational Youth Leader Staff (BVYLS) of Westmont Baptist Church is directly responsible for the development and promotion of the youth program of the church and leading the youth in the worship of Christ as Savior and Lord.
Duties:
15.1 Make the teaching of the Word of God to youth the primary goal of ministry
15.2 Participate in outreach ministry to youth prospects and their families
15.3 Provide counseling and spiritual guidance to individual youth as the opportunities arise
15.4 Identify the needs and interest of youth within the church and the community
15.5 Provide leadership for youth in discipleship, ministry, and missions activities and trips
15.6 Attend staff meetings to plan and evaluate all ministries of Westmont Baptist Church
15.7 Serve as a member of the Church Council, coordinate the youth program with the organizational calendar and emphasis of the church
15.8 Develop a healthy relationship with the whole church family by attending worship, Bible studies, and church-wide fellowships, evangelistic and missions oriented activities
15.9 Meet with Youth Council at least quarterly to plan and evaluate the youth program
15.10 Prepare a youth budget and submit it to the Budget Committee and serve on said committee in promotion and adoption of a yearly church budget
