Associate Pastor with the focus on Children and Family
White Pond Baptist Church is in search of a full-time/bi-vocational Associate Pastor with the focus on children and family discipleship and education. This pastor will work alongside of our Senior Pastor to lead the ministries and direction of the church.

Responsibilities:
Children Ministry Program
Advance a Children Ministry Program for students in K- 6th to include discipleship, evangelism, worship, missions, and fellowship.
Communicate plans with parents through regular mailings, electronic communication, and/or parent meetings.
Coordinate the enlisting, discipling, training, and motivating of adults to serve on the Committees and other leadership roles, in cooperation with the Nominating Committee and Senior Pastor.
Arrange for a regular quarterly report to be given at the Church business meetings pertaining to family ministry and/or children’s ministry.

Associate Pastor
Assist the Senior Pastor in the ongoing ministries and direction of the church. Duties in this role will include (but are not limited to) preaching in the absence of the pastor, visitation, calendar planning, meetings, and new ministry opportunities. Develop and oversee new Discipleship Programs/Small Groups and Sunday School in coordination with the Senior Pastor and church leadership.

Qualifications/Education:
We are seeking a minister who is gifted with communication and relational skills for teaching, preaching, and serving in our church family. Applicants must exemplify 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9, as well as have a heart for people and a passion to reach the lost with the saving grace of Jesus. Applicants must be Southern Baptist and plans to serve in a Southern Baptist Church.
