Farmville Baptist Church is a small but vibrant congregation located in the fast-growing Auburn/Opelika area, with a multitude of new homes and neighborhoods as well as Auburn University within a five-mile radius.
The Associate Pastor of Worship/Students is responsible to the Senior Pastor for assisting in planning, conducting, and evaluating a comprehensive music ministry as well as facilitating the continued development of youth/college ministries.
As Associate Pastor of Worship, he will lead our congregation in all aspects of the worship ministry including congregational singing, choir, ensembles, soloists, and instrumentalists in all age groups. He must be able to direct and coordinate volunteers in each of these areas. The ability to read music is preferred but not necessarily required.
The Student Minister role is to continue the development of the youth and/or college ministries. It will involve teaching, discipleship, outreach, and event planning to foster an environment in which students will grow in their faith. The ability to supervise and coordinate volunteers is essential in this role.
