Associate Pastor of Worship/Discipleship

Under new leadership, Government Street Baptist Church is seeking a gifted worship leader who can lead the church to involvement and connection with God through authentic worship.  The church has some forward momentum but there is much more work to be done.  We currently have a blended worship and we are open to worship that is genuine, biblical, and helps us connect to those outside of the church as well as members inside the church.  This position will also help oversee our small groups and discipleship ministries.  This is a Full Time position with tremendous growth potential.  We are praying for a great fit to our team and someone who will help us grow in our worship and discipleship into the future.  Being able to connect with people from the stage, and genuinely loving people is a must!  This is a great opportunity with long-term ministry in an area of Mobile, AL that is under revitalization with lots of new building and projects surrounding the church.  If you are passionate about worship and helping people grow in their faith then we would love to hear from you.
