Associate Pastor of Worship

The primary responsibility of the Associate Pastor of Worship will be to provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the worship ministry in our church. The Associate Pastor will plan, coordinate, and conduct worship for all congregational services and, in some cases, special events. The Associate Pastor of Worship will lead the worship gathering in a way that strives to create an atmosphere of worship among the congregation, in addition to preparing the congregation to hear the word of God delivered through the sermon. This individual will be actively involved in, but not limited to, leading and coordinating all aspects of the music ministry including praise team and/or choir, instrumentalists, soloists, sheet music/chord charts, and audiovisual presentations. In addition, the Associate Pastor of Worship will perform pastoral and administrative duties alongside the Pastor. These may include, but are not limited to the following areas: administration, education, discipleship, pastoral care, and providing leadership for the church in evangelism, community outreach, and missions.
