Taylorville Baptist Church is a church committed to loving God and man, sharing the Gospel, and serving God by serving others. We are looking for a full-time Associate Pastor that will lead the youth and education ministries.
We are a church of about 600 members with an average attendance in worship of about 180. We are located in the southern part of Tuscaloosa, a city of over 100,000.
This position will report directly to the Senior Pastor, assisting the Senior Pastor in leading, supervising, and evaluating the church staff and ministries. He must demonstrate a personal and growing relationship with the Lord, be a team player, have a teachable spirit, and a healthy family life.
This position is a significant leadership role that is a great opportunity for an individual that aspires to one day be a Senior Pastor. The Associate Pastor will be given regular opportunities to preach and lead services.
An ordained minister with a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of ministry is preferred. Salary will be based on experience and education.
