The following text is a transcript from this month’s video:

Every person counts. You and I believe that as Alabama Baptists, and we know that in trying to reach people for Christ, we really go out of our way to make people understand they do count and we want to minister to them in every way possible.

There’s another way that term “every person counts” could be considered. This is my first time to ever speak to you about the 2020 census or any census of that nature, but I want to underscore the fact that on March 12th, there will be an opportunity for you to go online and be able to fill out the information and encourage your people in your churches to do the same.

If they’re not willing to do it online, there will be an opportunity for them to do it via regular mail. But the main purpose is to make sure every Alabamian is counted because every person counts.
