Pray for students to realize how much God loves them, amidst all their worries and concerns, and for them to cast their cares upon Him.

College students – whether incoming freshman, sophomores and juniors in mid-stream, or seniors anticipating their final year – come to campus with worries and cares about a superabundance of things. These worries are related to family, friends, dating relationships, finances, fields of study, grades, health, the future, etc.

Whatever weighs on the hearts and minds of our students, one thing is certain – God cares for each of them and desires to take these worries from them. (1 Peter 5:7, NLT)

Pray for students:

– without Jesus to come to faith in Him.
– to grow in their faith so they will know the fullness of God’s love and care for them, and trust Him with every detail of their lives.
– to not worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. To tell God what they need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then they will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard their hearts and minds as they live in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7, NLT)
