Adventure Weekend

Adventure Weekend is a unique and challenging adventure for boys in 1st-6th grade to experience “living on mission” through worship, obstacle course and games. Our boys will be challenged to develop a missional mindset, to prepare them for joining God’s work in our state, country and world. Our camp pastor is Hunter Smith who is currently the youth pastor at Mt. Zion in Madison, AL and our worship leader is Chris Lombardo out of Birmingham.

Registration deadline to guarantee t-shirts for your group is March 10th.

Adventure Weekend Tentative Schedule

Friday:
5-6:45pm     Check-in (Ricker Center)
7:15pm         Worship (Ricker Center)
8:30pm         Adventure Activities (Ropes Course, Bazooka Ball, Pavilion Climb, Bonfire, Putt Putt,                         GAGA ball, 9 Square, Global Challenge)
10:30pm       Church Group Time
11:30pm        Lights out

Saturday:
7:30am         Breakfast (Gilbert Dining Hall)
8:45am         Worship (Ricker Center)
10:00am       Adventure Activities
11:30am       Lunch (Gilbert Dining Hall)
1:15pm         Final Session (Ricker Center)
2:30pm         Dismiss

Packing List

• If you are staying in a dorm, you will need to bring sheets (twin) or sleeping bags, towels, etc.  The beds are bunk style.
• Tent and RV campers provide all their supplies. We only provide the tent and RV site. (RV sites are limited.)
• Bring “play clothes” that are likely to get a little dirty! Adventure Weekend is a rain or shine activity. Of course, if rainy weather occurs, we will have indoor activities planned. Your child’s safety is our first concern.
• Closed-toed shoes are also required to participate in all activities at Shocco Springs.
