Cooperative Program Day
Sunday, April 9, 2017

Every Alabama Baptist church should draw attention to the Great Commission and Great Commission ministries supported by the Cooperative Program. Please pray for these ministries and for the hearts of the people who support the Cooperative Program.

There should also be significant prayer that gifts through the Cooperative Program will increase. Without the Cooperative Program, Alabama Baptists and Southern Baptists would be just another group of folks unable to see beyond their own needs.

When we give through the Cooperative Program we are making an investment in fellow Christians and in those who have not heard.

The Cooperative Program is the lifeline of missions work in Alabama and around the world. In order to raise awareness of the Cooperative Program in your congregation, please consider implementing some of the following suggestions for Cooperative Program Day:

  • Show a video clip in your service that highlights the Cooperative Program.
  • Arrange to have a state missionary come to your church to speak about the Cooperative Program.
  • Free Cooperative Program Resources such as bulletin inserts, informational brochures, video clips, posters, bookmarks, DVDs, children’s resources, missionary moments, and other promotional materials are available at
