The conference discussed several topics such as building security during services, van security, background checks for church staff and Internet/computer security. Chip Smith (left), an associate in the LeaderCare & church administration office of the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, was guest speaker. Director of Missions Larry Riddle said the conference was to meet the needs of the association’s churches and help prepare and protect them in the future.
