We have all heard the stories of abandoned babies on the doorsteps of fire departments, hospitals or even churches. We know what abandonment does for a child.

New church starts need the nurturing of a “mother church” to grow as healthy as possible in their formative years.

Churches Planting Churches Training is designed to examine the values underlying the rationale for becoming a sending/mother church.

The six steps necessary to make this a reality will be taught in detail. This training is designed for a church that is seeking to learn how to start a new church or churches from the “sending” church perspective.

Many people are fearful of the whole idea of planting a church because they have no idea as to how they would go about it. Information dispels anxiety.

The next opportunity to take advantage of this training is Friday and Saturday, April 28-29, 2017, at First Baptist Church, 1203 W. Pushmataha St., Butler, in Choctaw Association in west Alabama.

Sessions will begin on Friday, 6-8:30 p.m. and conclude on Saturday, 8-4 p.m. The cost for the two-day training is $25.

Registration is required. Register at: plantalabama.org/event/churches-planting-churches-training-butler/
