What are you going to do after college? Where will you live and work? What are you going to do for the rest of your life?

Life after college can seem scary and full of unknowns. There are so many questions to answer, and sometimes it can be hard to figure out where the Lord is leading.

Many college students want to use their careers to make a difference, leveraging their lives for the sake of the Gospel, but do not know where to start. That’s where we come in.

One Mission Students is excited to announce our new ministry initiative, CareerPlant, which will help recent college graduates serve the Lord and live life on mission after graduation.

“Those of us who work with college students realize that not every student feels called to plant a church, but many of them still want to make an impact,” said Chris Mills, state missionary in Collegiate & Student Ministries. “We want to help them use their vocation to serve alongside church planters and make a Kingdom impact!”

CareerPlant presents students with opportunities to connect with church plants in cities of great need. Students then find a job in the city of their choosing and strategically plant their lives to serve there.  By working with a local church plant to reach the city with the love of Christ, students will learn more about their community as they acclimate to their new city.  We are excited to see how the Lord will use CareerPlant. We believe this will be an avenue to reach even more people with the Gospel and will empower students to live every day on mission.
