Sean Thornton
State Missionary Sean Thornton is the campus minister at the University of Montevallo. He works under the leadership of the Office of Collegiate & Student Ministries.
Sean earned a master of divinity degree (with Biblical languages), Southwestern Seminary; bachelor of arts in psychology, Auburn University.
Other vocational ministry experience: college ministry intern, University of West Georgia, Carrollton, Ga.; US/-C-2 missionary, North American Mission Board, as associate minister at Waterbury Christian Ministries, Waterbury, Conn.; and youth and children's minister, Waverly Baptist Church, Waverly, Ala.
Hobbies and interests: Guitars, computer games, movies, reading.Sean and his wife, Reagan, are the parents of a daughter, Katherine Inez (deceased) and a son, Clay.
